Joseph Semansky Jr opened the winery and began making because he wanted to share his family's Hungarian tradition of winemaking. Growing up, he traveled to Hungary to work in his family's vineyards during the summer when he wasn't in school. His family tradition dates back to the early 16th century in Hungary making him an 8th generation Hungarian winemaker.
Bob Golic's Blackberry wine was first offered in August 2015. Joe and Bob have been good friends over the years. Bob lends his name to this sweet 100% fruit wine. Sometimes you can catch Bob and his wife, Karen, stopping to have a glass of wine and visit the winery.
